Chapter Forty-Five I shifted around in my seat, looking over my shoulder to see what had caught his interest. Kera walked into the dining hall, smoothing her hands over her full, swaying hips. I didn’t know what she was doing here. After our morning, I’d taken her back home and left her with her pride. The lion shifter that I’d gotten into a fistfight with had been waiting at the door. I could smell that it was her brother and I felt a pang of guilt. He must have been worried about her. I tilted my head to the side, showing him my respect.
