AVIONA'S POV Warmth. That was the first thing I felt when I stirred awake. For a blissful, drowsy moment, I let myself sink deeper into it—unwilling to open my eyes, unwilling to move. Everything was too comfortable. A soft groan slipped from me as I tugged the blanket higher around my neck, heavy and warm, ready to surrender to sleep for just a little while longer. I inhaled slowly, and the scent wrapped around me—cedar, steel, and something faintly citrus. My pulse hitched. It was his scent. King Faelan. A dangerous thought flickered through my mind.
