(Daniel) I've been replaying the border confrontation in my mind for over a day now. Every word I said. Every reaction I got. Every moment of satisfaction when I saw the rage on my father's face. It felt good. Better than good. It felt like power. Standing there on Silverpeak territory, knowing my father couldn't touch me, knowing I could say whatever I wanted without consequences. That freedom was intoxicating. The look on Aria's face when Ashley admitted to the poisoning. The way the Moonridge warriors growled but couldn't do anything about it. The way my father had to be physically held back from crossing the border. All of it proved what I already knew. They're weak. Controlled by emotion instead of logic. Handicapped by their precious rules and honor. I'm not handicapped anymore
