I leaned back on my office chair and looked at my mate. She wanted to coma back to work today even though I wanted her to stay home. I know she wasn’t ready to come to work, but this was her way of staying busy. I watched as she looked at her cellphone. Her eyebrows furrowed before putting her phone to her ear. Her eyes darted to me and I saw then flash. She hung up the phone and rushed towards my office.
“I have to go out. The school called saying that Kaleb is running a fever” she said. This made my wolf alert.
