Two of our kitchen cabinets had busted hinges. One of the dining chairs in the breakfast book was broken, and laid on its side on the floor. Those were the only actual damages done in the kitchen, save for all the glassware we lost and the shattered bay window. We tidied the entryway, too, and oddly enough, the formal dining room was left untouched. Reid’s office was destroyed—the traitors had turned it upside down searching for the cursed teddy bear. Reid stood in the office doorway, glanced around, and shut the door. Grady went with Reid when he left home to return to Cam’s holding cell at the packhouse, as we had previously agreed upon.
