Grady and her mysterious friend sat across from Reid and I in the living room. Cujo was curled up in a massive, fluffy ball at my feet. Grady’s book rested in the center of the coffee table. Reid had come bursting through the door in record time. He and the unknown man in our living room seemed to size each other up.
