Dakota’s POV I hated the way my body reacted to the bad boy as I yet again bounced off of his chest, almost landing on my ass. His fingers wrapped around my arms, steadying me, I could feel the warmth through my thin jacket and an involuntary shiver ran down my back at his nearness. ‘Keep it together, Dakota’ I scolded myself, ‘he is bad for you, and he can’t be trusted with your feelings.’ Glancing up at him, I was impressed when I spoke and my voice came out fairly strong, ‘Jesus, do you have a thing for running me down?’ I asked, surprised when he almost jumped as his head snapped up to meet my gaze. ‘Umm . . you can let go’ I added, as I glanced down at his fingers still on my arms.
