I gripped the strap of my duffel bag tightly. Thoughts of Ari swirled through my head as I walked towards the arena for practice.
I just dropped her off at the cafe and was already suffering from separation anxiety.
Fuck, how am I going to get her to stay with me? This morning she was very adamant about finding a hotel and getting out of my hair as soon as possible. Her words, not mine. This morning I could tell she was already planning her exit strategy. I offered to drive her to work considering she left her car at their apartment.
