It was all a lie. Everything I ever thought about Pete and I’s relationship had all been one big lie, and Ace had been in on it too.
“Is that true? Were you the one who sent me those texts?” I asked again, seeing Ace standing there like a deer in headlights.
Yeah I had been listening in on their conversation…how could I not? I wanted to make sure Ace was okay and Pete hadn’t come here to attack him or something. I was worried about Ace, but then came the biggest shock of all.
