Chapter Eight The library lights flicker off one by one as I pack my bag. I’ve stayed far longer than I meant to, burying myself in notes I can’t focus on. Thankfully, I have a sitter who takes Bella home from school several days of the week and stays with her until I return, so I don't need to worry about my girl.
