Laura was in a state of confusion and anxiety. As her maids and guards ushered her, she didn’t even realize where they were going until they arrived at the library.
“We’ll need supplies.” She stated as some of her senses came back to her, but her voice still cracked.
“Everything has been prepared, my lady. Let’s go in.”
A couple of guards led the way. She and her maids followed before the rest entered.
“Apparently, there’s another room inside the inner room, your highness. We only discovered it the other day. We’ve loaded enough supplies to last us for a week or so.”
“A week?” Is it going to take that long? Her anxiety worsened.
“Please remain in the inner room, my lady. We’ll send the doctor to you as soon as he arrives.”
