Samuel simply hugged her to sleep. The woman seemed to be very bothered. He understands what she wants but she seemed to be protective, too. And quite responsible. She knows what’s expected of her, but since it kind of clashes with her personal desires, she must be torn inside and does not know what to do. Even with his suggestion and assurance, she’s still unable to make a decision.
The next day, she’s quieter than usual, which made him concerned.
“Are you alright?” He can’t help asking before leaving for his office.
“Hmm, I’m fine. Just thinking…” She managed to smile at him.
He stared at her for a while. Her smile held, so he was assured. He gave her a kiss.
