The following week, Laura became busy, too. The celebration for their engagement was set to be in six days. Invitations have been sent out and it would be held within the castle.
The seamstresses visited her, presenting a new gown they made. They wanted to make sure the measurement fits. It’s a good thing they provided an allowance. She would admit to eating a lot since she was welcomed in the palace.
But the gown… it was the most beautiful dress she’d ever seen. She has no words to properly describe it. It was a shade of green, of the royal household’s color. She supposed white would be reserved for the wedding.
