It seemed that Father had finally decided to leave his study as I was relaxing on the bathtub that was filled with water. I was able to tell since I heard his light footsteps around the house. As I washed myself in the bath, I suddenly realized that there was another pair of footsteps distinct from my father's that was walking towards me. Immediately, I turned vigilant, waiting for the footsteps to come nearer. When it seemed like the person outside the bathroom was about to enter, I took a deep breath and dived myself into the bath, which would give me the element of surprise when the stranger enters.
