Ember sits on the bed and just watches Kai’s movements, she doesn’t say a word. She isn’t going to protest his actions because it is so simple yet has such an underlying sweetness to it. When everyone else is so ready to get rid of her he is set on making her part of his life. Everything that he does touches her fragile heart and she can’t even find words to say to tell him how much she appreciates it.
