Ember raises her head, looking directly into the copper eyes that are trained down at her with a look of admiration and brimming with love. Even in the midst of the battle that they are about to head into, Kai knows that he loves this woman in front of him, more and more each second. He has never had a single doubt about making her his mate and everything she says and does just reinforces that fact.
Ember stands up on her toes and pulls his face slightly down, giving him a quick peck on the lips.
