The moon casts the faintest glow on the canopy, the large looming trees cast a shadow on the couple. They are surrounded by darkness but they only feel the warmth and the love.

Kai’s large canines extend as they sink deeply into Ember’s skin. Ember’s whole body shudders as the connection between the two truly is established. She wasn’t sure whether her mark would even stick when he regained his wolf.
