"Hello, beautiful," he said in a deep and charming voice. He was so close I could feel his breath fanning my face. I quickly put some distance between us and rolled my eyes. Even if they were handsome, I had a man to follow, and they were blocking my way. "Hello and goodbye," I said, sidestepping the stranger with practiced ease. His grin didn't waver—if anything, it widened, as if my dismissal amused him. "Rude," he tutted, falling into step beside me as I pushed through the crowded market square.
