I am sitting on my bed , trying to decide whether it’s best to go to that stupid bar with Kate or to stay home , I know with almost total certainty that if I go to a place so close to where Lucy will be having her date with the waiter , I won’t be able to control myself and would check on her.
It’s better if I just stay home , I mean , it is just a thank you dinner, isn’t it ? I should take Lucy’s word that it is definitely not a date , just dinner with a friend , a harmless dinner , she doesn’t even like the guy , right ?
