The whole drive back to pack lands, I just kept counting seconds. It took a lot in me, not to just jump out and make Asher run faster. But I gotta keep my sanity. I should stay calm. She might be so devastated on the other end, and I need to be calm.
After a terrible two hours ride, we finally reached the pack borders and I can't be more relieved. As soon as I entered the pack, I could feel the connection with Leah building up again. That was when I smiled for the first time since the past few days.
But I got worried when Asher whined that he is unable to mindlink Lotus. They'll be fine. Asher might be worrying too much for nothing. Everything will just be fine.!
