Cam of course went into action immediately and the guards around us shifted to their wolf forms.
Howls came from the ones on patrol and Cam was already running toward the packhouse before Jackson and I even took a step.
We took off running, following Jackson to Abigail and Jim’s cottage where our mates were. There didn't need to be any words between us, we both knew what the most important thing was.
There were warriors outside but that didn’t mean anything if this guy could walk through time and space.
