Confrontation with Medra the Medusagon

A few seconds passes and the Medusagon showed up in front of Samantha and positioned at 10 meters away from her. Samantha calmed her mind, and avoided the direct gaze of the Medusagon of the moment, the coercion influence grew stronger and stronger as the medusagon stayed on the position nearby Samantha's spot.

"Aura Activate" and Samantha's own influence then surfaced in the area. Bith the Coercion influence of the Medusagon's existence power and Samantha's unique aura from her existence power then tried to resist and clash each other. The Medusagon's coercion influence suddenly grow stronger as the evil creature screamed and shouted in anger which tried to coerce and overpower Samantha's aura. With this sudden change of aura power still, Samantha's unique aura manifested around her and tried to deflect and efficiently reflected back the negative weakening debuff of the Medusagon's coercion influence. Samantha's activated aura was concentrated on her to fully resist the Medusagon's power in which she was enclosed in her short-range aura of 2 meters in the range from any direction, while the Medusagon's Coercion influence Scattered throughout the area. Samantha was then able to look at the Medusagon's entire existence without the fear of being turned to lifeless stone for some time and immediately got defeated. The creature's face was still the same, both of the medusagon's eyes grow x1.5 bigger for a mere second, and snake patterns showed up on the creature's face which was an attempt of the Medusagon to turn Samantha into stone but with Samantha's activated aura, the medusagon failed to do so and raged the creature as Samantha was the first-ever existence to resist the petrifying gaze of the evil creature and seems like a call for a challenge for the Medusagon.

The Medusagon then resurfaced to the ground on the position she was currently at and introduced herself to Samantha before she fight the young adventurer.

*chuckles sweetly* "What a little wild snake," The medusagon said proudly and her snake tongue went out and did an unsightly hiss.

"I am Medra, one of the strongest creatures nearby and coming from the proud race of Medusagons," Medra added, and aside from her voice that sounded as much as a human but a distinct feel vibrates around the area.

"If you insist, I will take you like my little right hand," Medra continued and chuckled sweetly.

Blueza and Pinko were hiding on Samantha's Shadow, and Medusagon thought that Samantha was one of the hybrid children which a human and a medusagon gave birth to a child. Medra thought that way cause she can feel a trace of monster presence within Samantha which was in reality, Medra just got detected Blueza and Pinko.

"I am here to defeat you Medra," Samantha bravely replied.

After hearing those words from Samantha Medra laughed villainously, and her laughs grows louder and louder, her snake tongue showed up as she continued her laughter.

"Hahaha! Haha-ouch," Medra loudly screamed as she accidentally bit her tongue with her viper fangs.

Samantha almost bursted into laughter but she calmed and stopped herself to do so. Medra saw Samantha almost laugh and she did not take that as a mere joke as she felt pain after she accidentally bit her tongue, and with that, she saw Samantha disrespectful, and forget her offer earlier as she just got the intention of eradicating Samantha.

"I am sorry for your mother and father but I will not tolerate any disrespectful medusagon to those superiors to them, you needed to be eliminated," Medra shouted in rage and started to rush to Samantha.

"He??! I am not a monster at all! Anyways, I am here to face you in the first place Medra," Samantha replied.

Medra was stopped after hearing those and released a confused expression.

"Eh?!!!" How can you resist my force if that isn't the case? Where does the monstrous presence inside you come from? And what are you trying to imply?!" Medra added.

"I am Samantha, an adventurer, and Blueza and Pinko were the ones you're detecting inside me, specifically on my shadow,"

"Release," Samantha ordered, and Blueza and Pinko showed up.

"Well, I am confused about your existence too Medra, aren't Medusagons one of the wild monsters out there? Since I did not find your race in the Evil creature's book though I found you in the demi-monsters but how can you act that way?" Samantha added.

Demi-monsters were slightly different from demi-humans, Demi-monsters were known for their neutral behavior and does not attempt to attack humans first rather than fighting back and were the child of original monsters of the Terrania and the wild evil monsters which by far, Demi-monsters did not side the humanity nor the monsters and continued to thrive their race as what human communities do.

"Well uhmm... the tribe leaders do evict me in our village since... uhm... I am almost hurt by a human and so I tried to fight back with that mean man but things looks different, and that the man reported the case which the tribe leaders discussed with the kingdom's official, and decided to exile me to exempt them from my sins..." Medra started to go emotional, and later her coercion energy started to grow stronger and stronger, she did not add the information that the tribe leaders were her parents, and because of the dishonesty of a human took her from her home.

"That's why I wanted to kill all humans! They were impure and full of dishonesty!" Medra added.

"Hey, not all humans are like that," Samantha replied.

"Shut up! You can't change my mind!" Medra added.

Samantha prepared herself, Medra cast a magic spell that was coming from a boxed-shaped magic circle that holds 4 attributes at once. The spell got h8gher accuracy than the Necromancer Lord who cast multiple attribute spells while still using the basic magic circle.

"Viper s***h" Medra chanted and a viper-like ghost showed up which then vanished and strong lethal blades of wind heads towards Samantha.

"Barrier pressure!" Samantha cast and a triangular magic symbol showed up around her, which the execute just lasted a mere moment since Samantha did chant a single attributed speed within a symbol mark that can hold up to 3 attributes that caused her to hasten the execution by x3.

In response, the Viper s***h was held by Samantha's barrier wind pressure that was around her and effectively negate the wind attack.

"Earth-Snake!" Medra chanted after seeing Samantha was able to negate her first attack.

Samantha felt a string pressure below her, and suddenly her triangular magic circle shattered as the Earth Snake was a direct attack from the caster's opponent's spot.

Blueza and Pinko who's auto-battle modes were activated dealt with the situation. Both Blueza and Pinko released a magic circle in an instant and cast "thundershock" directly to the extending "Earth-Snake" which just took few seconds to destroy the Earth snake. The ground was left opened and so Samantha used "Flight" magic with the attributes of Wind and Barrier magic, she was able to sustain the spell for a few seconds and successfully resurfaced to the ground. Samantha was now 25 meters away from Medra since the previous event did damage the ground somehow.

Samantha's Metal Clay Ball weapon was then in her possession after she called out for the weapon.

Samantha cast a tri-attribute spell. Which got Wind, Water, and Strengthening/Empowering Magic. It only took a few seconds, and Medra did not do any further actions as she was trying to perceive Samantha at the moment and her instincts were currently blocked by the fog of dust from the event earlier.

"Vortex Enhance!" Samantha felt the sudden surge of energy in her body and that she was covered with x3 her normal magic power for a few seconds. Medra felt the strong presence, and she was backen up a bit, due to the presence pressure, the fog of dust dispersed and Medra saw Samantha,

"Ehh??!!!" Medra did not contain those words, her coercion influence started to grow weaker and weaker, and felt like she was coerced by Samantha instead.

Samantha did not waste a single second and swirls around like a tornado which she slowly empowered her weapon with a strong force and incorporate light magic inside the metal clay ball. Her spinning made a tornado-like wind pressure which stopped after a few seconds at the same time as Samantha threw her Metal Clay Weapon directly to Medra. Unlike her previous throws, every 100 milliseconds, the weapon empowered and changes its color too much intense energy. Which the ball heads towards Medra ×5 that what the weapon normally run to when thrown at a normal level of force. Which the ball was expected to reach Medra after 5 seconds at such 25 meters distance or the ball travels at a speed of no less than 4 m/s and faster than 5 m/s.

4 seconds passed and Medra was near to receive a direct attack from Samantha which by far changes its color to crimson red and slowly turns darkish violet.

A few milliseconds were left for Medra and if she doesn't do anything to counter the strong force heading to her, she might die.

"Viper Barrier!" She cast the spell on time which immediately shattered as the Metal Clay ball of Samantha was a few inches away from her.

"No-" Medra grieved.

She felt a sudden presence behind her, and that someone powerful that can negate the attack came for her. The Medusagon who came used concentrated magic power to counter Samantha's attack that immediately ended after a few seconds of clashing with his magic power which should be quoted as simple as breathing, the strong Medusagon did negate the strong power pressure of Samantha.

Samantha was yet to understand the situation as she was blocked from seeing behind the powerful clash of power as her weapon and Medra clashed. Later then, her weapon bounced back to her on its own, and Samantha saw the noble-looking male Medusagon, much bigger than Medra, and his coercion influence was concentrated on himself but Samantha knew that the individual was at least 10x stronger than Medra.

"Papa!" Medra said and hugged the adult Medusagon which was the superior tribe leader and father of Medra.

Medra's father tapped her head with quite a force and scolded her for some time.

"You really don't seem to understand things Medra," The strong-looking male adult Medusagon told Medra who was wearing her sad face.

The adult Medusagon then went close to Samantha, and by Samantha's instinct, she does not felt any kind of threat towards the entity.

"Pardon my the rudeness and being wild of my Child, I am Medra's father, the leader of the nearest Medusagon village on this area," The Medusagon Tribe leader started.

"I am king Melvad, and hoping you accepted my apology instead of my wild daughter Medra," Melvad added.

The short conversation came to an end, and the Melvad promised to watch over her child from day to day so that she will no longer pose threat to passing humans, and that they will pay for the amount of damage that Medra left at the town of Aliw.

Samantha agreed to it, and believed that Medra was really a good individual deep within herself, it's just that she experienced some bad things with humans, and disliked it that much.

Melvad was pleased that Samantha did accept the apology and as his gratitude overflows, he invited Samantha to visit their town since there are also a few adventures visiting there and also different races of Demi-monsters and Demi-Humans.

"Yes!" Samantha happily agreed.
