MISSION: Defeat the Necromancer Lord I

4:30 P.M

After few moments, radiant bubbles of dark energy showed up a few meters from Samantha's spot and were on the north side, the bubbles were combining themselves, and after forming 5 big radiant dark energy bubbles, these clusters of evil power then collided with each other, making a dramatic explosion and dark dust were scattered throughout the spot where the explosion happened, and a high-ranking necromancer showed up floating mid-air and got a power source which was an artifact, a necklace decorated with 3 power gems, on the sides were the red gems and centered by a dark gem power stone. The evil presence pressure started to grow stronger, and Samantha prepared herself. Just when she almost started to attack, a similar phenomenon happened from the east, west, and south. Later then, 3 other necromancers with the same powerful existence as the one who showed up first. Though these necromancers were similar in their strengths, their power stones varied, from the south, the necromancer's gems were centered still by a dark gem but the 2 other gems were blue, the east got earth gems, and the west got green stones. The stones do exhibit different strengths, and so these necromancers were varying of spells they can cast but all can use dark magic. The one who showed up from the north got dark and fire magic, from the south with dark and barrier magic, the eastern necromancer with dark and earth magic, and the western necromancer with dark and combination of nature's bite and nature's protection magic.

It's clear to Samantha that these 4 necromancers who showed up were not at the least as their devil ruler. It should be a much capable being and might have the combined powers of these 4 powerful general necro devils.

Samantha then thought of her strategy to deal with the situation.

Blueza and Pinko then combined themselves and turned back to their unified existence as Sli. They grew their size until they were big enough to enclose their master inside them. This form grants their master protection as they used themselves to perform a special art of barrier magic. With these, Samantha can still move around freely, and attack, as she wants, as the barrier does not restrict her with movements, and so fighting even inside, was highly convenient and safe for her.

A strong vibration disturbed the ground but did not baffle Samantha. She then opened her palms, and her metal clay ball weapon was in her hand after a few seconds.

Samantha then saw the wide range of dark magic circles above the skies, and dark clouds were also forming with thunderbolts started to violently target the ground. The magic circle was a product of unified chant by the necromancers and called as Binding Curse of the dead.

The necromancers then forwarded their hands and opened their palms.

After opening their hands, Samantha saw that their magic powers were being sent to the magic circle above. Samantha prepared herself for what's coming next.

After just 3 seconds, the thunderbolts stopped for a few moments, and in an instant, these thunderbolts were directed all of their destructive and violent attack towards Samantha.

As the thunderbolts were reaching her, Samantha happened to predict it, and respond before she got hit or even hit her means of defense. With strong force, she has thrown her metal clay ball to block the attack.

As she threw her weapon to the skies, it accumulates power every second, and Samantha incorporated it with light magic spells.

She shouted in the battleground as she chanted the spell.

The light that blocks the darkness and gives of hope and sight, shines on me, and sends thy dark power with rays of shining stars even at the night! "Ray Lights"

After being done chanting the spell on time, two rays of light come out from Samantha's palms and rushed to her weapon. The rays were swirling around each other to strengthen their force, the rays of light then incorporated with Samantha's weapon who's building up its power a few distances ahead. Later then, the rays of light look like the aura of the metal clay ball.

At the same time, the destructive death thunderbolts rain from the skies directly to Samanth's spot, which her weapon's accumulated energy tried to block. A laser beam shock noise echoed throughout the spot as the death thunderstorm and the powerful force incorporated by light rays inside Samantha's weapons collided with their strong forces.

The death thunderstorms were effectively stalled by the light rays and Samantha's powerful attack to block it, these death thunderbolts then turned to destructive beams that were redirected from her spot. The transposed laser beam scattered throughout the distance, and Samantha was safe in her position.

The lesser undead who were hit by the redirected combined light and death magic which was turned to laser-like beam got broken and were stopped for a few moments but due to a weak strand of light magic within the redirected beam, they were not injured badly and later got assembled again.

4:45 P.M

It was 15 minutes passed since Samantha meet the army of their necromancer ruler but since the beginning, the said being was nowhere in the location. The skies then cleared again, and the clash of power ended, Samantha's Weapon then vanished from the skies and showed up back to her hands.

She watched over her M.P, and she still got 950 M.P/1,250 M.P

And so Samantha then advanced with her plan. She thought of eradicating the lesser undead first but she could not go closer to this undead because the necromancers were leading their way, and there's no other method than teleporting nearby the back of the undead force to attack them but every teleportation at such distance would cost at least 30 M.P. With that, she also thought of erecting a wide range purification field but the process needed 200 M.P and needed to supply 20 M.P per minute to sustain it at the least, and the maximum power that needed 100 M.P per minute.

Samantha was worried that if she might have an M.P shortage when the necromancer lord showed up. So she waited for the perfect time and use plan two to maximize the benefit of the process.

The necromancers that were still in their place, then covered with their attribute aura. The northern necromancer with his dark fire aura, the southern necromancer with his dark blue aura, the eastern that emits dark earth aura, and the western necromancer with dark nature's aura. The nearby undead behind than were buffed, and later disassembled their bodies and created undead chains with their general necromancer's attribute.

The necromancer then forwarded their hands to Samantha, and the chains made of their undead force rushed to Samantha. Samantha then got the perfect time for her luxurious spell.

"Light Chant! Light purification field!" Samantha chanted loudly. The area was then enclosed by a huge light magic circle, and still, the chains were connecting themselves to contain Samantha. Few moments then, and transparent light purification magic surfaced the area, which slowly degrades the tough chains of the undead. The undead force vanished but the necromancers who were reached by the light purification spell weren't moved by such an attack, and just received minimal damage.

The necromancers then laughed villainously in chorus.

"Fascinating, even in a body of a child," The necromancers spoke in chorus with their same tone of voice that sounded like an adult man and got a deep, eerie, and evil tone.

"I will make sure to defeat you like others and gain a fragment of your power," The necromancers added.

It is said that the necromancer gained his abilities by defeating those players who tried to clear the area. Though the players got revived after a few days, their defeat made them lose some of their earned points and so the necromancer cannot use it but was shifted to random powers. Samantha was not aware that the previous record for the task classified as A-IV difficulty level was an old classification and outdated, it should be an A-II task right now after the previous duo who accepted the mission failed.

This might be something higher than what Samantha wished it to be, she was still positive that she'll be able to accomplish the mission.

"You should not underestimate me, I will do my best to end you right away," Samantha replied.

Samantha morphed her metal clay ball into fragments and was shifted to 4 shurikens, the process cost her 10 M.P, and right after shifting her weapon, she targets the necromancers with one each. With halved power, the damage and ability of Samantha's weapon were halved evenly for the shurikens. Every 4 seconds, the shurikens were charging up their power. Later then, the shurikens reached the necromancers, and a loud blast sounded in the area from the north, south, east, and west. The collision created a strong impact force as the shurikens collided with the necromancers' counter-attack to block the attack.

The necromancers then laughed in chorus once again.

"Surprising...surprising, a girl as small as you can deal me with such attack all at once... I am motivated to defeat you..." The necromancers said in chorus.

"I don't need such compliment from," Samantha replied.

The necromancers then increased their force which sends the shurikens back to Samantha, and before reaching her back, the shurikens collided back to each other and formed back to their original form.

A tear of sweat fall down from Samantha's forehead and she immediately wiped it away.

"I see, I will let you saw my unified superior form," The necromancers that were from the south, east, and west vanished, and dark radiant bubbles showed up nearby the necromancer who's in the northern area of the small town. The radiant dark bubbles then collided with the necromancer, and his body absorbed everything.

Samantha then felt the strong shaking of the ground, and the powerful dark pressure coming from the necromancer.

The superior form and the unified version of the necromancers who was the necromancer lord who conquered the small village then revealed himself. His right eye was changed to one of the red gems, and his left eye with the blue gem. The earth gem in the center of his forehead, and crown made of bones that were decorated with broken fragments of the natural gem. The necromancer's main gem, which was the dark stone was enclosed in his core or now serves as the necromancer lord's heart.

Due to the strong pressure, the magic circle of the light purification field that Samantha activated was broken which stopped the casted wide range light purification spell. Samantha felt the intense dark pressure even with Sli enclosing her inside the support barrier. With that, Samantha then activated a barrier spell and light magic short-range purification magic circle to protect herself. "Barrier Magic: Shield by the stars!" "Light Magic: Protection Circle"

After chanting, a transparent orange barrier enclosed Samantha and layered Sli who was currently a form of barrier protection. Then a small yet durable light purification circle showed up below Samantha's position. It was then that the pressure she felt weaken but even with such protection, she still feels the powerful dark influence of the necromancer lord.

"This is not good," She muttered to herself.

As she was stuck in her defensive position, her M.P was draining faster than earlier, it might be due to the wide range coercion lord magic circle that was activated by the necromancer lord.

Samantha could not fight back than maintaining her means of defense.

It was then that the necromancer lord summoned his undead knights, and undead oracles, the undead forces that were far stronger than the previous undead warriors and undead mages. The knights were attacking her barrier defense with their swords while the undead oracles showered her barrier with death bullets.

"I am losing, I should withdraw," She muttered to herself as she tried to resist the attacks and maintain her means of protection.

As moments passed, cracks were showing on her erected Star Shield.

She then heard the necromancer lord chanted something.

"I do not like to do this but I lack enough preparation," Samantha told herself.

She chanted something, and after few moments, the necromancer lord was done chanting his dark nature spell, death vines showed up nearby Samantha's position and with strong force started to reach her spot. Right before the vines could reach her, she was then able to finish the cast.

"Teleport!"

Samantha vanished from her position and the barrier she left on the spot was badly destroyed by the vines. The necromancer lord was not happy to see her escape away.

On the other side, Samantha was then teleported to the safe zone where the erected isolation vines got erected. She sighed.

"That was not a task with A-IV difficulty," Samantha told herself.

Sli who was atop her head that time then duplicated which Pinko and Blueza have separated with each other again.

"Master, sorry if we are not able to withstand such force, we are not that prepared for such a quite powerful devil" (Pinko said)

"We will do our best to assist you next time that you would not need to hold back," (Blueza added)

Samantha hearing Pinko and Blueza spoke like the necromancer lord were not that strong made her smile awkwardly and just scratch her head, and just laughed awkwardly to respond with Pinko and Blueza.

It was already 5:30 P.M and the skies were starting to grow darker. Samantha then ran with her maximum speed and support agility spell to reach the nearest town before the nights grew darker.

After 30 minutes, she reached a quite prosperous small town, and she then showed her Adventurer's I.D to have her entrance. Same with other guards, the towns' assigned guards were shocked meeting such a high-profile player since there's a slim chance that a Platinum Player would ever spend the night in such a place.

Samantha went to an in and rented a room that goes with a meal. She was happy with the hospitality the people were giving her. She just paid an advance of 1 silver coin and expected to pay the gold coin after the day. She also paid extra 3 bronze coins for the delish meal set she loved to have with.

She reached her room that just a comfortable bed, a window, and just the table and chair. Unlike her tiny house that got magic bulbs to illuminate the house, the entire town uses bright magisteel that was formed to box-shaped devices and were decorated at the top corners of the room, the area was illuminated but it's 35% dimmer than magic bulbs. Even with these, Samantha was not disappointed with such an environment. 2 minutes later, staff knocked on her room and served her, her food. She thanked the staff after taking her meal to her which the staff then bowed as respect and left her room.

"Oiii!" Samantha happily said as she saw the delicious meal after opening the meal boxes.

There was a fried pig egg which was basically similar to chicken egg but lay by pigs on the Terrania, Land Shrimp which were shrimp living on the ground, Chocofruit cake as dessert which was the Chocofruit as the major ingredient is a type of sweet fruits on Terrania. There was also water, and lemon juice for Samantha to drink with.

Blueza and Pinko were also hungry at that time and they were gazing over the magisteel around the area. They started to jump and reach this magisteel when Samantha stopped them.

"Blueza! Pinko! Don't eat that!"
