As I left my darling behind, my heartbeat increased with every step I took away from her. The thought of even leaving our queen alone for a few minutes while she was unmated and unmarked did not sit well with me or lycan. Maybe we should've left Gabe behind with her just in case she got lost or needed something. But, our little minx was a tough nut; you never knew what would set her off.
