GOD IT FEELS SO GOOD!!
Yesterday, I finally broke up with Romola and I am happy that no one tried to stop me. Well, of course, Amanda tried to stop me, but who cares about her? I actually thought that dad would take her side and ask me to go forward with the stupid engagement, but thankfully, he did not say anything or do anything to stop me from doing what I did.
Romola had called a lot of times after I left the party. I did make a mistake of picking her call once, which I regret. I had to hear her wailing about how I could do such a thing to her, that she loved me. Like I was appalled that she thought I would fall for her stupid lie. Everyone who knew about the arrangement knew that neither Romola nor I liked each other. It was just a pure business
