After getting ready, I went downstairs. When I reached downstairs I found that Grandpa Frank and Grandma Sharon were also there. They were both sitting with grandpa Mason and Grandma Julia. Mom was also sitting and talking to them. Mom was in her casual clothes while Grandpa Mason, Grandma Julia, Grandpa Frank and Grandma Sharon were wearing formal clothes for the party. Mom was not coming to the party. She never came to the New Years party that we celebrate at dad’s house, just like dad and Amanda do not come to the Christmas parties mom hosts here, in her house. I even wish I did not have to go and celebrate the New Year with Dad and Amanda. The only reason I am going is because mom asked me to go.
