I quietly and quickly got out of Elliot’s penthouse, hoping no one would see me going, and got out of the building without anyone seeing me. Since my apartment was more than 30 minutes away from here, I had to take the cab or the bus. I think taking the bus is better. A cab will be a bit more expensive than a bus. Thank god, I had my purse with me, else I would not have any cash or my travel card with me.
After I got out of the building, I quickly walked to the nearest bus stand and waited for the bus that would take me to my destination. Luckly, after just waiting for 5 minutes, a bus that goes to my apartment area arrived at the bus stop. I quickly got on the bus and sat on a vacant seat.
It was going to be a long ride home.
