The last two weeks have been a roller coaster ride. First, I finally gave that creep, Jason, what he deserved. Since I haven't seen him hanging around Katie's house lately, I guess he got the message. Second, Katie's dad caught the two of us, not only doing it, but also skipping school to do it. I've been walking on eggshells around him ever since.
I've watched my dad go from bad to worse, and then surprisingly, to completely normal again. Of course, this leads my mom to believe in a miracle that's scientifically impossible. Her hopefulness breaks my heart, but what can I do? It's a struggle to be around her these days. I never know what to expect from her or how she's going to react. I guess I can't blame her. She's faced with losing the love of her life.
