Lerisa pulled her quilt open and lay on her bed to sleep. She said a short prayer and then shut her eyes.
However, Anthony was stunned to see that Lerisa had rejected his calls. He knew that she was acting mad at him, avoiding him, and behaving jealously.
"Hmm...." Anthony frowned.
"What has come over Lerisa? So she now rejects my phone calls too? What do I tell my mother if she eventually asks about Lerisa again?"
Anthony's fists clenched. He wasn't pleased with the fact that Lerisa was beginning to change her good behavior and avoid him.
"I cannot date Lerisa... What's she thinking? She's like my sister. I cannot. Well, if she wants to avoid me, good for her," Anthony affirmed.
