Groaning softly, Natalia tried to open her eyes. She felt a splitting headache and her whole body felt sore. While trying to wake up, she turned and tossed, making noises and thus waking up the nurse who was sleeping on a chair beside her.
"Don't force yourself to sit or open your eyes. Take your time."
The nurse's sweet voice made her relax and she exhaled loudly. A few seconds later she opened her eyes and looked at the ceiling. Looking around she knew it was an unfamiliar place and looked at the nurse for help.
"You are at Raven Pack Hospital. Our Alpha Archer Raven brought you here last night. Your right hand was broken, and we put it in a cast after joining the bones. You have been asleep for about ten hours and have only woken up now."
