“Riven!” I awoke to Dorian screaming my name. I felt beside me, but he wasn’t there. It wasn’t until the doors opened to his room that I realized I had been alone for some time. Dorian practically ran inside. He searched through our dressers, throwing some clothes onto the bed for me that Caden had gotten for me. “What’s going on?” I asked. Dorian spun around to face me with a devastating look on his face. “He’s found us. There are thousands of his soldiers right outside our doorstep demanding for me to release you. I’ll be damned if he gets his hands on you! As powerful as you are now, we haven’t been able to thoroughly train.
