After the incident, Tony and I never talked to Shelby. Our lives were once again peaceful and drama free. I guess some friends are not worth having. Anthony remained friends with us for a few years, but then we lost touch as he moved abroad.
Tony got a job as an Electrical Engineer, and I went back to school for my medical degree. Things were back to normal.
I mean, don't get me wrong, Tony and my relationship weren't all rainbows and sunshine. We fought, argued, and got into each other's nerves, but it was all worth it.
Uncle Ryan and Aunt Molly ended up having a beautiful daughter named Emma. She was the cutest thing but was always asking me stupid questions. Like today.
