You Intoxicate me

Chapter 20

-Crimson P.O.V.-

“Thank you, Kandake.” I say before bowing my head slightly to show her respect.

I soon rushed back to my body as the burning was gone, but I cannot open my eyes so I just lay there. I could hear Ambrose’s breathing as I felt his warmth too. He must be lying beside me. My transformation must not be done yet, so I just laid there as I tried to picture what my wolf would be like. I am assuming that she would be a unique color as the powers I would be gaining would be unique. I wonder what her name would be...as I was wondering, I was soon placed in another area but it was a mountain setting.

I didn’t have time to look around before I felt something nudging my arm. I looked to my left to see a beautiful wolf sitting down on its hind legs while the front two legs were straight. I plopped down while the wolf laid down while I put my hand on its back.

“What is your name?” I asked the wolf as I stroked its beautiful bright red coat, but it also had an white underbelly with white paws.

She tilts her head to me. “My name is Oracle. I am your wolf.”

Her voice flows in my head. My eyes go wide. “Holy s*it, you are my wolf?! You are completely different from what any other wolf would even come close to looking like.”

She snorts. “Of course, I am. Kandake told you about our powers so why would we even look like any other wolf.”

I chuckle before looking out at the view as I keep my hand on my wolf’s coat. “Why am I meeting with you though? I thought you were supposed to make your way into my head and then I wake up.”

“What part of ‘we are unlike any other wolf’ did you not understand?”

I snort. “Okay smarta**.”

I hear her chuckle in my head. “What did you expect? I am a part of you so I gained part of your lovely nature.”

“Okay, Okay. I can hear the sarcasm in your voice. I get it.” I say with a chuckle. “So why are we here?”

“We are here because we needed to meet to complete the transformation and to also talk about the NightWalkers.”

I didn't make any faces as I was kind of expecting this. “Why do we need to talk about the NightWalkers?”

I look over to see Oracle cross her two front legs as she lays her head on top of them. “They will know of our transformation in about 2 weeks after us shifting and becoming Luna of this pack, so we need to be ready. The leader of the NightWalkers will hear of this and become furious as he will think that he can change us into one of them, which will be impossible. But he doesn’t need to know that and no one else for that matter. In order to stop warriors of this pack from dying then we need to play this smart which Ambrose will help us with. Him and Shadow have always been the missing link to you beating the NightWalkers along with me.”

I scoff. “I figured that. I knew that I would never be able to beat the NightWalkers alone which is why I was happy to have found Ambrose.” I say with a smile.

“He really is amazing and DO NOT even get me started on Shadow...he could ram me into the forest floor and I would not even mind.” Oracle says with a slight pant.

I shove her playfully. “You horny wolf.”

She snorts as she looks over to me. “Like you don’t want to jump over Ambrose every chance you get and just wait till you get Shadow.”

I shove her again. “Shut up, he doesn’t need to know that.”

“He already knows. Now you need to wake up but we won’t be able to shift for about 12 hours since our transformation was so short. You will still have me but I won’t be present until the 12 hours are up so until then enjoy being alone for those last moments.”

I wasn’t able to say anything else as the next thing I know, I am back in my body. I was soon hit with a scent that caused my senses to go all over the place. Gosh, it was so intoxicating. It was like you just woke up in a mountain cabin and walked outside as the crisp morning air hit your nose. I don’t know how else to describe it as it was so intoxicating..I quickly opened up my eyes and looked to my right to see my handsome mate laying there with his eyes closed. I could hear his breathing patterns so I knew he was sleeping. So I lifted up a hand to touch his cheek but once my hand touched his face..sparks shot through my hand all the way through my arm down through my whole body.

My touch caused Ambrose to stir so I leaned forward to place a soft kiss on his forehead which caused him to completely wake up. This caused him to completely wake up as I was soon caught in his arms before I was under him and he was on top of me. I chuckled as I looked up into his eyes that held so much emotion.

I lifted up my hands and touched his cheeks. “Gosh, your smell and everything about you is so damn intoxicating.”

He smirked. “Now you know why I said that ‘you intoxicate me’.” He started to lean down to kiss me, but soon he pulled back as he had a confused look on his face. “Wait, how did you transform so damn fast? It has only been about 6 hours, how is that possible? Did you gain a wolf or anything? What happened? I didn’t even mean to fall asleep but something made me just pass out.” He quickly blurted out.

I chucked. “Slow down, baby. I transformed so fast because I got to talk with the Moon Goddess and my wolf. Apparently, I am going to be a special wolf and I will also be bright red with a white underbelly and paws. But I am thinking that the Moon Goddess put you to sleep so you wouldn’t be worrying over me.”

“You got to speak with Kandake?” He asked me with a surprised expression.

I looked at him with a raised eyebrow. “How did you know that her name was Kandake? I thought most wolves thought her name was Selene.”

He chuckled. “Those who didn’t want to do some research. Our pack has always been taught the Moon Goddess true name along with what she could look like. We are not like the other packs.”

“I can see that.” I say with my head tilted.
