Derek’s pov
I knew as soon as Candice came in after her little outing that she had done something. She was overacting being cheerful and wouldn’t look me in the eyes, I just hope whatever she has done, I will be able to do some damage control.
“Cut the sh.it Candice, you are not that good and actor. What happened? What did you do?” I asked firmly.
“Why do you think I did something? I could be the victim, you know” she says angrily as if I have offended her.
It is not going to work. She is not able to make me feel sorry for her and turn this around on to me.
