Valentina’s pov
Everything was going great with my parents' new place. In a month, Francesca had it ready for them to move into, and they had also had an offer on their old home. Most of the business was transferred to Gio’s office building, and dad would start there in a few weeks' time.
Mamà was excited to be closer to her friends the Rossi’s again, they had moved to New York a few years ago, and I knew both mamà and papi missed them, even if they did meet up regularly and went on a couple of holidays a year with them.
I had seen more of Gio lately than I had in a while as we worked on the launch of my new clothes ranges. It was always like this when I added a range. The usual new season launches, I mainly left Gio and Craig to get on with it as they knew what I liked.
