“I’m for you and you alone!”
He cupped my cheeks, staring at my eyes, and I smiled, wrapping my hands around his.
“Let’s go in,” he said to me, and I followed suit.
I glanced back at Lilian, and the look on her face wasn’t pleasant at all, but I don’t care, at least I have his attention.
“Stay in and relax” He said after walking me to my room.
“You aren’t going to stay here with me?” I asked sadly.
“I have work to attend to, and there’s also a meeting being held that demands my presence. I promise to come straight to your room when I’m done, okay?” he said, patting my hair before heading towards the door.
