Chapter 008

Alpha Kaiser POV

Fear stench in the air as everyone kept on backing away from me, keeping more than 10ft distance. I stared at their faces, and all I saw was fear, shock, and other different expressions on their faces.

“They all know about us,” Darkson said, feeling proud.

“She’s your mate?” My beta asked, reminding me of the girl that just ran away.

“Obviously”

“Alpha!” Alpha Roland called, walking closer to me.

“I’m so sorry for that little commotion…”

“You call that a little commotion?” I creased my brows at him, and he scratched the back of his neck before moving closer.

“You know Emery knew the rule not to hurt Cami here, but she violated it. I wasn’t going to hurt her; just lock her up until morning,” he replied, and Darkson growled inwardly.

“Our mate can’t sleep in the dungeon,” Darkson snarled, and I forced the urge to keep him under control.

“Look at me, girl!” I thundered, and the ugly-looking girl turned her gaze at me.

“Calling her ugly is an understatement,” Darkson sharply said in my head.

“Do you know I can f*****g rip your heart before anyone stops me?” I asked, and the smell of fear grew more.

Fuck! I hate this smell.

“But…but…but..she..she..”

“She did what?” I interrupted her walking closer, and everyone backed away from her except Alpha Roland.

“She hurt me!” The ugly girl blurted out clutching onto Alpha’s Roland pants.

My fist tightened as anger surged through me, I wasn’t liking this feeling at all. I aimed at the girl when my beta pulled me back.

“The elders are getting pissed” He mind linked me, and I frowned.

“I’m pissed too,” I replied, then glanced at the Alpha.

I seriously don’t think this alliance with them is going to work because the f**k I’m so mad and pissed at these people.

“Alpha Kaiser…”

“See you next time in the meeting.” With that, I turned back and strode off, heading straight to my car, and my beta got in driving.

We rode in silence, driving towards the end of the border when my wolf started pacing.

“We’re about to lose her?” Darkson rose quickly and I paused.

“What do you mean?”

“I can feel her, she’s leaving; I can feel it, she’s in the woods,” Darkson said anxiously, and I rolled my eyes.

“We don’t need her, Darkson, remember?” I reminded my wolf, and he immediately went silent.

“She can’t reject us human, we’re bigger than that,” He said coldly, making me frown.

He’s right, we can’t get rejected.

“Stop the car!” My voice was calm, and my beta glanced at me before parking off the road.

“Is there a problem, Alpha?” He asked.

I ignored him and jumped down from the car, letting my wolf take partial control by trying to sniff her out.

Her scent was the first thing that pulled me to her, sweet strawberry with a mix of of ocean blue. Her scent was everywhere in the forest, making me wonder what she was doing here.

Is she running away from us? The thought of it alone made my blood boil. I ran forward when I caught a whiff of her scent, making me snap my head sideways following her scent.

Getting to a point, I saw a cliff, and my mate was heading towards it. I quickly ran forward when I saw her slipping away.

“Ahh!”

“I got you, mate,” I said, wrapping my hands around her waist as she relaxed on me.

I felt the sparkles going through my body, and I knew it’s the same for her too. After a while, she pulled away from me as if noticing something and backing slowly.

“Stay…stay…stay away from me,” She said moving backwards.

I stared at her and the bag she was holding tightly. Was she running away?

“You’re eloping?” My frown deepened starring at her.

She doesn’t want me; that’s why she's leaving.

“Please stay away from me!” She begged with her eyes down.

I took slow strides, and she moved faster, the more I walked forward, the more she walked backwards, then she stopped and faced me.

I could hear her racing heart and heavy breathing, which shows she was scared, but she put on a different expression and it’s that of bravery.

She looked me in the eye and stood firmly, “I Emery Callus of Golden Mist Pack, reject you, Alpha Kaiser of…”

My fangs clutched her neck as I pinned her against a tree angrily. How can she reject me? Who does she think she’s?

“Ahh!” She whimpered, trying to get away from my grip, as the smell of her blood stench the air.

“What do you think of yourself huh?” I asked as the veins in my body pumped up.

“You’re…you’re…you’re hurting me” She cried out, her hands held mine, trying to pull it down.

“I was going to reject you, but you dare reject me, and you expect me to accept your rejection, huh? Listen to me, I will take you with me and make you suffer the mate bond,” I spat angrily as she cried the more.

“I can’t breathe.” Her voice was becoming low as she bled hard.

I let go of her and she fell on the floor, breathing heavily. She wrapped her hands around her neck, crying, and it just didn’t sit straight with me for some reason.

I bent in front of her and pulled her closer, dropping my lips down on her neck as she quivered beneath me.

Her blood was just so sweet, and I felt the urge to mark here and now because Darkson was supporting it.

My canine grew out, aiming to mark her when I heard a loud scream pulling me out…
