Kaiser’s POV
The meeting ended, and I went over to my office. I still have lots of files piled up on my table that need my immediate attention.
I pushed the door open, and my mate's sweet scent waft my nose. Strawberry and ocean blue. She was here looking so fresh and relaxed.
Her focus was on the book in her hands, and she didn’t seem to notice my presence.
“You’re here?” I asked, and she turned around and faced me.
“Yes, or am I not supposed to be here?” She asked, twirling her chair around.
“No, that’s not it, you haven’t been here since the last time” I said, walking over to her.
The last time she was here was when I almost ate her right at my table, and she was so shy and mad at me when we were busted, but when I had my way with Lilian, she became so mad that she distanced hers
