Alpha Kaiser POV
I turned around and saw my beta standing close to a girl laying dead in her pool of blood. I glanced at him moving away from my mate.
“A witch!” He muttered, cleaning his hands as my brows furrowed.
What will a witch be doing in the woods? From what I’ve heard, there are no witches in Golden Mist Pack, so this means only one thing…she was here for me.
“We need to go!” My beta looked behind me and stared at my mate before facing me. I saw the hesitation in his eyes, like he was about to say something but stopped.
“Come here,” I ordered, and I could feel her staring at me but didn’t hear any movement from her.
“What makes you think I will obey you?” I heard her ask, and damn, her voice is cute and sexy.
“I can rip your heart at anytime, love,” I faced her and could hear her fast heartbeat.
She stood up slowly, starring at the witch on the floor, then she turned and started walking out of the woods while we followed.
“Get in, show us direction to your house.” She glanced at me then at the end of the road.
“You were leaving?” She asked me.
“Not without you anymore. Love,”
She took her lips in, then stepped in and sat down like a statue. She started giving directions to my Beta, then the car stopped at an oddly-looking house.
“You have 5 minutes, just say your last goodbye!” I ordered, and she quickly came down running inside.
“You’re seriously taking her?” Lucky asked, and I nodded.
“But…”
“I don’t have a choice, Lucky, she f*****g rejected me before I did, so she will suffer for it” I said angrily when a knock came in on the car window.
A lady stood outside, looking all pissed and angry. Who the hell is she?. Me and my beta climbed down the car and stood in front of her.
“How may we help you?” My beta Lucky asked before I did.
“Are you the alpha?” She asked, glancing at both me and Lucky.
“I am,” I replied, and she threw an angry glare at me.
“So you’re the bastard mated to my daughter?” Her words took me aback, as I wasn’t expecting it.
“She f*****g called us bastards, Darkson,” I said to him, but he kept quiet.
“I understand how mighty and big you're, but you wouldn’t want to mess with me or my daughters, so with all due respect, if my daughter reports how cruel you’re, then I will force her to take your life,” She spat angrily.
She will force my mate to kill me? How haha…
“By cheating on us fool!” Darkson retorted, and that was true.
If she sleeps with other men who aren’t me, then it will affect us deeply. f**k the mate bond.
“Are we clear?” She questioned, and I could hear my beta laughing softly.
What’s funny to him?
“Then tell your daughter to obey my every rule and…”
“She’s not a toy or a robot, Alpha.” She cut me through, making me angry.
Nobody has ever spoken this rudely to me in ages.
“I like her, our mate mother is cool,” Darkson said excitedly.
“What the heck, man?” I cut him off angrily.
“I understand she was planning to run away, but believe me when I say I wasn’t in support of it, but if my daughter doesn’t want you, then I have no right to force her.” Her voice suddenly sounded calm, and I felt like she wanted to say more but stopped.
She looked up at me and sighed, and suddenly my nose caught my sweet mate scent. I cranked my neck in that direction and saw her looking all angry as she stared at the girl from earlier.
I was correct; they’re sisters. My eyes caught something else—Alpha Roland’s beta walking close to my mate.
Something in me didn’t like the way he was staring at her, and when he touched her cheeks, I couldn’t help but growl loudly.
The f**k he was ignoring me, and my mate enjoyed his touch. I growled again, and he turned and stared at me, giving me a smile as my mate took some steps away from him.
“Let’s kill him,” Darkson growled.
“Of course I will,” I said, walking towards them.
“How dare he touch our mate?”
