Addison’s POV
I didn’t sleep well last night. I knew first-hand just how spiteful Garrett can be when he's pissed. I wasn’t confused about where he was yesterday when he left, and he was in fight mode. I needed him to be on the same page as me, but I had a feeling that today would not go well. Phillip tried to comfort me, but I could tell he was also worried about Garrett’s threats.
This wasn’t my first rodeo with being on the receiving end of Garrett and the punishment he thought I deserved. He was absolutely serious about what he had said. I also didn’t miss the part that he had already spoken to an attorney. I was having some serious concerns about his return today. I was praying Garrett would come and get the DNA test done without causing a fight.
