Addison’s POV
If Garrett thought that kissing me was going to make my resolve crumble, he was going to be sadly mistaken. It was a relief to know that I was absolutely over him. I was scared to do something as bold as to test the waters like this. I was glad Phillip showed up to intervene. I was scared Garrett would’ve gone even further if we had continued to be left alone. I needed him to cooperate with me to complete the DNA test. But honestly, that doesn’t include forcing himself on me.
