As the days passed, we did a lot of good in the pack. Not just Rory and me, but Daniel showed us his leadership skills. I’m impressed with him. He’s doing something most teenagers wouldn’t dream of trying. Still, seeing all his responsibilities makes me worried about him. Yes, he has a bright future as an Alpha, but there is so much he hasn’t had time to learn.
Unfortunately, it’s not something I can help him with. It’s not like I’m prepared to be queen. We just have to learn together. Or he might teach me more than I can teach him. I’m so proud of all he has done.
One of the first things Daniel did was to ensure people in critical situations receive help at once, like the orphans. After the Moonless attack, there are too many dead adults. A few died in the fight when I saved Betty, too.
