Angel’s POV, little over a week later:
It’s been a week since the encounter with King Samuel, and I’ve avoided him since. I don’t know how I feel about it all. The s*x is mind-blowing, and I lose my mind around him, but there are so many red flags around him. I don’t know if that’s because his role is to be the ruler or if he is dangerous. At least he isn’t seeking me out, which makes me a little more comfortable.
And like most of the other werewolves in the castle, I’m excited for tonight. We are expecting a Supermoon. The moon will be the closest to Earth and at its fullest. Shifting when it’s full moon always feels more exciting, and no one wants to miss it when it’s a Supermoon is happening on the weekend.
