I check my email. I have many emails from different Alphas wishing for me to get well, while others asked what happened and if there’s going to be another war. I thanked everyone and answered whatever question they had. I let them know that there wasn't going to be another war and that the 'Rogue King' was dead. I was glad that the last war didn’t last long and I know it ended so quickly because of River.
River. I hope she wakes up soon. I can see that Koslov is trying hard to keep it together. I sighed, rubbing my temples. I scrolled down to the last email only to see it was from the Elder council. I clicked it just as there was a knock echoes in my office.
“Come in,” I called, reading the email and letting out a low growl.
“Out of the hospital and already working, I see,”
