I knew I had no hope in this fight because I was still feeling the effects of the wolfsbane, and it didn’t take long before I realized my father wasn’t by my side anymore. He had been unintentionally holding me up when he had a grip on my arm, and when he let go I had to lean against the small table beside the officiant just to stay upright.
