Carly’s POV.
A cold splash of water struck my face, jolting me from my slumber. I groaned and shook my head, trying to clear the cobwebs from my mind. My head throbbed, and I could feel a wave of nausea rising in my stomach.
I opened my eyes, and what I saw made my blood run cold. Alpha Burno stood before me, his eyes blazing with fury. I struggled to keep my composure, but I could feel myself shaking like a leaf in the wind.
I tried to steady my voice as I asked, "What is it you want?"
