“Hey baby, we are going to see your grandfather,” I cooed out at the bundle in my arms. He smiled and I continued following Cole. Six months had passed, and it was the first time we had been allowed to come and see my father. I was nervous, according to Dimitry, my father has improved.
“Here it is,” Cole said as he knocked on the door. A moment later it opened, and my mouth fell open. The last time I had seen my father, he had looked terrible, broken, and old. Today, right now, he looked pretty much the same as when he had been Alpha. He had gained weight and although he still looked old, he didn’t look terrible or broken. Sure, I could still pick up the sadness in him but other than that, he looked good.
