Ethan’s POV
It had been exactly one week since Christian’s rejection, and he was definitely doing a lot better, but I was still making sure to get him out of bed every day and do something. Today, I decided it was time that we left the pack grounds when we hung out. Christian only reluctantly agreed with me when I promised that we could go a few towns over so that he didn’t have to worry about running into anyone that might’ve been at the Luna ceremony.
I invited Jayce to join us, and he said he wasn’t sure at first, but when it got to be time to leave and Christian and I came out of the pack house, he was already waiting at the car. I had a feeling he talked to Abbie about it, and she encouraged him to come with us so that Christian could have another friend by his side, just in case.
