Ethan’s POV
Abbie spent some time talking with me this morning about how I should spend time with Christian these next few days, even if he doesn’t seem to want me around. I didn’t really want to annoy Christian like that, but I trusted Abbie to be thinking about what is best for her brother, so I decided that I would do as she suggested and headed toward his bedroom.
When I got to his door, I was a little surprised to find it cracked open. Even when he wasn’t depressed as he must be right now, his door was usually closed and sometimes locked, so I wondered why his door was currently open.
“Mom is in there with him,” Averie suddenly mindlinked me, and I looked over my shoulder to see her standing right outside her bedroom.
“Should I come back another time?” I didn’t want to interrupt C
