“You’re an i***t if you think that a human can lead a pack.” Someone else chimed in, fueling my anger even more. I swallowed hard, trying to keep my wolf at bay. Xavier was not happy in the slightest about what these guys were saying about our child.
“I understand why you may be concerned, but none of you know Christian or his mate.” I had to speak through clenched teeth to keep myself from shouting. I wasn’t going to start a fight here, I wasn’t like that, not anymore.
